DIY VERSION:
Save some money by assembling and bonding the three piece spoiler yourself. Kit will include the unassembled spoiler in three pieces as well as two directional alignment dowels. Recommended to bond pieces with any plastic adhesive/epoxy designed for ABS plastic. Assembly instructions here.
PREASSEMBLED VERSION:
Full spoiler already assembled and bonded together as shown in photos. The item is sent as is, without any additional finishing or processing. To achieve a smooth finish, this product should be sanded and filled prior to painting (specifically the bond seams between pieces). If not, visible layer lines from the manufacturing process will remain on the plastic. It's worth noting that the bare plastic is UV resistant and doesn't fade, therefore, it doesn't require paint. Installation Instructions (DIY instructions above):
Recommended to install using genuine 3m Double Sided Mounting Tape approx. 7/8” width along areas where spoiler contacts trunk. Follow tape manufacturer’s instructions.
For additional security, a bolt installation kit also available. This includes preinstalled threaded inserts and bolts to attach spoiler to car. Drilling holes in trunk will be required for this set up.
